I. Product Overview
The solvent recovery unit is specialized environmental protection equipment designed to purify and recover organic solvent waste gases and liquids generated during production processes in industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, coating, and electronics. By employing physical separation techniques-such as adsorption, condensation, and distillation-the unit separates organic solvents from the gas or liquid phase and converts them into clean, reusable solvents, thereby achieving the dual goals of resource recovery and regulatory compliance regarding emissions.

II. Working Principles
The unit utilizes three primary process pathways:
① Adsorption Method: This method leverages the porous structure of adsorbents-such as granular activated carbon or activated carbon fibers-to selectively adsorb organic solvent molecules from waste gas. Once the adsorbent reaches saturation, the solvent is desorbed (released) using steam or nitrogen and subsequently recovered through condensation. Offering excellent treatment efficiency, this is one of the most widely applied methods.
② Condensation Method: Based on the principle of varying saturated vapor pressures at different temperatures, this method employs multi-stage cooling to condense VOCs directly from a gaseous state into a liquid state. When used independently, it is suitable for treating waste gas streams characterized by high concentrations, low flow rates, and relatively simple compositions; however, it is frequently paired with concentration equipment (such as adsorption rotors) to handle high-flow, low-concentration gas streams.
③ Distillation Method: Designed for liquid waste solvents, this process involves heating the solvent to vaporize it; the resulting vapor enters a cooling system where it liquefies and flows out, thereby purifying and recovering the solvent.
